TOBIAS NEUTZ | PRODUCT DESIGN is a design studio located in Munich, Germany.
GOOD DESIGN MAKES A DIFFERENCE/ I believe that a human centred and environmentally conscious design approach will lead to design ideas and products with a strong identity.
GOOD PRODUCT DESIGN/ is always expressed in a good balance between functionality and simplicity in form. With over 14 years of industry experience on the corporate and agency side, I have developed a strong and good sense for this. Since the beginning of my life as a professional designer, I have always looked for the inner meaning of a product, which is the most natural lever to find its right expression.
The journey of a design process/ is always challenging and in the same way very fulfilling. Getting to the point in the design process where you know that you've found a meaningful form for the object, that you’ve found its identity, is what makes this profession so special.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN PHASE/ KICK OFF/ IDEATION/ IDEA SKETCHING/ CONCEPT/ FIRST PRESENTATION/ Every project begins with a briefing from you, our client. We take a lot of time for this in a conversation in order to understand exactly the framework conditions, wishes and requirements for the new product and thus lay the foundation for a good product design.
DESIGN CREATION PHASE/ APPROVAL/ DESIGN CREATION/ DESIGN DETAILING/ SECOND PRESENTATION/ Together, we filter out the best designs and design elements that come closest to your goals and ideas and systematically detail and deepen them. This ensures that together we approach the best possible result and precisely meet the design specifications.
DESIGN FINALIZATION PHASE/ DESIGN REFINEMENT/ COLOR- MATERIAL- FINISH (CMF)/ VISUALISATION/ DESIGN FREEZE/ HANDOVER/ In the third phase, the design is once again refined and finalized based on the results of the second presentation. The end result is high-quality CAD drawings and models that are handed over to model making or tool making for further processing.
